So it's been about 18 months since i last did a journal and even longer since I uploaded anything. I've still been visiting DeviantArt regularly to see what my friends are uploading and commenting on their fab artwork. I don't really do much drawing anymore, I was never particularly good at it and it was always just a fun hobby. However, over the past year or so my interests have changed quite a lot. I now do a lot of writing, I have written one children's book that I am trying to get published and am working on 3 others at the moment. I may upload some extracts every now and then. Wow, so been 3 months since i last did a Journal. Big news, the Library i work in has just celebrated 50 years of being open. We had a week of events and celebrations, and on Thursday a news crew came to record us cutting our birthday cake and doing spooky time stories and crafts. It showed on TV this afternoon during the news. You can see me in it, I'm the one in the black and green skeleton suit. I know everytime i write this i say i haven't uploaded anything for ages but will do soon, well i still haven't uploaded, but i have been working on a few things. I started an entry for the "James & The Giant Peach" contest and hope it will be finished by end of the week. I have been woring a lot on my writing and have now done about 15 chapters of my book and planned another 15. I am also doing an entry for a short story competition, but it can only be 750 words which is actually hardly anything.
